Terms of service/ Liability Waiver

Martinsburg Misfits Travel Baseball (“the Organization”) requires all parents or legal guardians to review and agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver prior to participation.

Participation & Eligibility

Participation in the Martinsburg Misfits 10U Travel Baseball program is voluntary. Players must meet age and eligibility requirements and follow all program rules, policies, and codes of conduct.

Submission of registration does not guarantee roster placement.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in baseball and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or accidents.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in practices, games, tournaments, travel, and team activities.

Liability Waiver & Release

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Martinsburg Misfits Travel Baseball organization, its directors, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated facilities from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my child’s participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Organization to obtain medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

Code of Conduct

Players, parents, and guardians are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respectful behavior at all times. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program without refund.

Fees & Refund Policy

All registration fees, tryout fees, and tournament fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Fees help support team operations, equipment, field rentals, and administrative costs.

Weather & Schedule Changes

Games and practices may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather or field conditions. No refunds will be issued for weather-related changes.

Agreement

By submitting registration or allowing participation, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver.
