Code of Conduct
Martinsburg Misfits Travel Baseball is committed to providing a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all players, families, coaches, volunteers, officials, and spectators. Participation in our program signifies agreement to the following Code of Conduct.
Player Conduct
Players are expected to:
Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators
Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
Follow team rules and instructions
Refrain from abusive language, gestures, or behavior
Play hard while maintaining fairness and integrity
Parent & Spectator Conduct
Parents and spectators are expected to:
Encourage all players in a positive manner
Refrain from coaching from the sidelines
Respect officials’ decisions
Avoid confrontational or disruptive behavior
Support the values of teamwork, effort, and respect
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the facility.
Coach Conduct
Coaches are expected to:
Lead by example through positive leadership
Place player development, safety, and well-being first
Treat all players fairly and respectfully
Communicate clearly and professionally with families
Uphold league, tournament, and organizational rules
Sportsmanship & Fair Play
The Organization maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
Verbal or physical abuse
Harassment or intimidation
Discrimination of any kind
Use of profanity toward players, officials, or spectators
Disciplinary Action
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
Verbal warning
Suspension
Removal from the program without refund
Decisions regarding discipline are at the discretion of Organization leadership.
